Metalithic Systems -1997
My scraper board artwork was used extensively by Metalithic Systems Inc. for its product packaging, trade show booth and corporate web site.
The response at NAMM was so positive the chip with wings (below) became the company logo.

Chaos Concepts - 1994
This image from Entombed was specially rendered for Game Star magazine. As such it had to be big, 2100 x 3000 pixels. Back in 1994 all I owned was a overclocked 40Mhz 386sx with an IDT math co-processor. The image was rendered using the Vivid 396 ray tracer (the only ray tracer that at the time could access extended memory) and took over 5 days to complete. Why so long? This image is essentially a large room that is repeated using a hall of mirrors effect. Tracing reflections is costly, particularly because in the case of this image the recursion depth was set to 16.
